On Auction-It NO listing fee is charged. You can list as many items as you would like to, and it will still
cost NOTHING!
Verification
This has certain benefits, the most important of which is the trust it ads to buyers. Verification costs
R100.00 and needs to be paid up front. A seller verification will be listed on request. This money is to cover the cost of verification only and is charged once every year.
Preferred seller
You become a preferred seller as soon as you have 10 buyer feedbacks, without a single negative feedback among them
Banner ads
Banner ads run on a random order selected by the site software. We cannot adjust it, and cannot make one sellers
banner display more than that of another. Banner advertising works on a "Pay per click" basis. If nobody clicks
your banner it will run forever without costing you anything. Clicks cost R0.20, and can be bought in quantities
of 500, bringing the total price to R100. You need to supply us with a banner sized 468 x 90 pixels (about) All
banners are subject to approval before being loaded.

Store rental
To be able to sell you do not need to rent a store, but it has advantages. First of all it gives you the freedom
to really set your items up as you wish. You can create your own categories, include a store banner or logo, in
short, it is as close as you can get to an own website without the hassles. You may even apply for a
"yourstore@auction-it.co.za email address. Being a store owner also gives you access to the "Featured store"
advertising space on the homepage.
